Installing 'Image Gallery - Responsive Photo Gallery Pro' Plugin is as simple as installing any other WordPress Plugin. If you don't know how to install plugins, please review the two options below:

1.1 Install by ZIP File

  1. Log In as an Admin on your WordPress blog.
  2. From your WordPress dashboard, choose Add New under the Plugins category
  3. There, you have the buttons: Upload Plugin. Click it.
  4. From here, browse for the zip file included in your plugin purchase titled as awesome-responsive-photo-gallery-pro-installable.zip and click the Install Now button
  5. Once installation is complete, activate the plugin to enable its features.

1.2 Install by FTP

  1. Upload the awesome-responsive-photo-gallery-pro folder with all the files located in it to your WordPress plugin directory (/WORDPRESS-DIRECTORY/wp-content/plugins/) [e.g. www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/]
  2. From your WordPress dashboard, choose Installed Plugins option under the Plugins category
  3. Locate the newly added plugin and click on the Activate link to enable its features.
  4. A new menu tab with the name Awesome Gallery will be created in the WordPress admin panel, where you can configure and create your image gallery!

2.2 Some of the key features

3.1 Create an Image Gallery

Navigate to Awesome Gallery from WordPress dashboard and click on Add New button to get started a new gallery. Enter gallery title and click on Add Gallery button.

3.2 Set Options to Gallery

After creating a gallery, you have to set options for your gallery to get the Gallery ID. Mouse over on gallery name and Click on Add Options link. In the next page you will get all the options for the gallery to setup.

After setting up everything click on Add Gallery Options button. Then, you will get an unique Gallery ID for you gallery and the copy options will be activated. By clicking on copy icon, you can duplicate any existed gallery rather than resetting a new one. If you have any difficulties to uderstand the options, feel free to open a ticket at any time here.

4.1 Create a New Gallery

Now, time to display the gallery using the gallery ID you have generated in the earlier section. Go to Pages >> Add New to create a new page. Click on Add Media button to open media uploader. Click on Create Gallery from right side and select Upload Files if you don't have any images. Upload your photos and after uploading click on Create a New Gallery button.

4.2 Set Image Details

Select an image and from the right side, enter image Title, Alt Text, Description, Caption, Categories, Read More Link and Video URL. Just enter those fields if you need any. Now, click Insert Gallery button to add image details into the gallery.

4.3 Include Gallery ID into the Shortcode

After completing the above procedure, you will get the default gallery shortcode of WordPress with ids. You have to insert Gallery ID there, like [gallery id="1" ids="114,115,112,113,110"]. You can click on Gallery ID button in text mode to insert gallery id.

4.4 Publish Gallery

Click on Publish button from left to publish your gallery. Click View Page to see an awesome image gallery :). The image gallery will act according to the settings of that perticular Gallery ID. If you want another gallery just create an unique id and input in shortcode like, [gallery id="2" ids="506,505,502,503"] or [gallery id="3" ids="506,505,502,503"]

5.1 Export Gallery

Here, you can create a backup of all the configuration and setting options of your galleries by exporting them. When you click Download Export File button, WordPress will generate a JSON file for you to save to your computer. After exporting, you can either use the backup file to restore your settings on this site again or another WordPress site.

5.2 Import Gallery

Here, you can restore the backup files that you export before. Just select the JSON file and click on Upload file and import. Wordpress do the rest for you. Note that, maximum file size would be 450 MB.
